59 AB Engine (the Gordy) --- includes a starter and flywheel

We have this 59AB Ford flathead for sale. You can see the test run on video here and here. This engine is stock bore and stroke. (3 X 3). It was honed and new rings were installed. It has not run long enough to seat the rings, so there is some blowby in the video. It is set up with stock 6 volt distributer and coil.

We are using a 12 volt battery on the starter during the test, so it cranks up quickly. This is engine is being sold without a carburetor, fuel pump, exhaust manifolds, oil filter, generator, fan, pressure plate, or clutch disc. This engine was test run and showed 50# of oil pressure. It has an 8BA crankshaft which allows the use of insert type rod and main bearings. It has new Speedway Motors water pumps, oil pump and a freshly machined flywheel.

The parts and labor price list shows $1943.55 for this engine but we will sell it Sale Priced at $1,900.00 if it is picked up at our location.

We can discuss other delivery options, but experience has shown that a “Less than Load” item of this size gets expensive in a hurry. So consider ways to get this engine to your location. We can haul it and finding something to haul back would help.
