1951 Mercury Four Door Sport Sedan Model 74

Everyone would like to have a ’49-‘51 Merc convertible. Well, maybe not everyone, but it is a favorite of hot rodders and restorers. This four door is more common, but finding any ’49-’51 Merc in original condition is pretty rare. This car came off a farm where it was stored for about 30 years. The original mud from the farm roads that the original owner drove it over is still stuck underneath in places. The first owner first titled the car in Jan. of 1952.

We are rebuilding the flathead, fixing rust but otherwise not changing much. We are not going to sell it yet, but if you are really interested we can discuss “not doing” or “doing” things that would make the car more to your liking.

We don’t charge for return trips as we try to find something to backhaul. However, hauling fees must be paid in advance. If you decide the vehicle is not what you want we won’t unload it. But, the hauling fee is not refundable.
